Gould’s Salons Inc. dba Gould’s Day Spas and Salons, which opened with the center in 1952, currently operates a 2,000-square-foot salon in Poplar Plaza but has been looking to open a more full-service spa in the area. Bookstar’s vacancy gave Gould’s the chance to expand into 3,680 square feet. A January, 2012 opening is planned.
Osaka Japanese Cuisine will soon be opening a fourth location at Poplar, leasing 7,300 square feet at the front of the center facing Poplar Avenue.
